Special Projects for Special People

It’s not every day that a tech company partners with the bees! Loralie Young, Creative Contributor at Bar Bell Bee Ranch, currently works at Xero, a cloud-based accounting software company, in San Francisco. She was asked if Bar Bell Bee Ranch was interested in doing a special contribution to a wellness box that would be delivered to Xero Partners. This isn’t an uncommon ask for Bar Bell Bee Ranch, as they have partnered with brides for wedding favors, event planners for take-aways, and now a tech company for a gift box!

Loralie collaborated with Kyle Ilenda, a Visual Content Creator , to design a special label for the small packs of honey sticks to be included in a wellness box sent around the April tax time. The wellness box included things like; soothing tea, a branded mug, organic soaps and balms and ultra cozy Xero socks.

Beautiful Business is Xero’s focus, and our bee’s wanted to show off their beeautiful work!

Putting together 950 honey-stick packets was no small event, it took everyone on the farm; Eileen and Ed, Loralie, home for the holidays, and Nicole too. It was 10 boxes, weighing nearly 10 pounds a piece that made their way from Minnesota to California in the middle of January once the project was complete!

Owners Eileen and Ed Menefee decided to use Orange Blossom and Basswood honey; as Orange Blossom is a honey sourced in California that has a crisp, light flora finish; and Basswood, is said to have a mint-like aftertaste, sourced from the Basswood tree that blooms during spring time in Minnesota.

Avalon Accounting was kind enough to give everyone a shout out for the thoughtful gift from Xero, including Bar Bell Bee Ranch!
